The Skive are a three-piece punk/garage racket straight out of Stevenage, which is genuinely the 42nd worst town in the UK. These guys are all about filthy, in-your-face energy and no-bullshit politically charged chaos. They’ve got a reputation for blowing the roof off every joint they play with blistering speed, reckless anthems, and lyrics that hit harder than a hangover. 

Their brand of punk? Pure, unfiltered, punch-you-in-the-guts madness. The lineup’s a family affair: Fred on guitar and vocals, his brother Kyle on drums, and their mate Joe on bass. These three aren’t just a band, they’re a fucking force. 

Amassing a fanbase of members of the LGBTQ+ community, transgender community and old punks alike, The Skive are growing a name for being one of the most exciting and fresh acts on the underground punk scene. Playing with punk legends such as 'Menace', The Skive have sold out venues across Hertfordshire, London, Brighton and more; with their most recent show in Hertfordshire resulting in a huge win for the lads after they won Juicebox Live's 2025 Battle of the Bands, winning a decent cash price and recording their debut studio EP, titled 'Obnoxious, Aggressive and Disgusting'. The EP features tracks about pub culture, the price of meal deals taking the mickey, scummy politicians using their power for criminal activity and the working people struggling and pushing through these hard times.

Quoted as 'young, brash and full of piss and vinegar' by Black Carrot Magazine, The Skive are truly the hottest young three piece of bi-sexual punks around. They’re taking a hard, unflinching look at the UK, screaming their way through the mess the higher ups are making, and demanding we do better. It's all about unity, and they’re dragging you along for the ride whether you’re ready or not.

In 2025 alone, The Skive supported large bands such as ‘Bilk’, ‘Buzzcocks’ and ‘Kid Kapichi’ at a sold out show in Manchester’s Deaf Institute.
